Kym Smith is the Founder and CEO of Xtra Pair of Hands, a premiere personal assistants placement agency located in Atlanta, Georgia. After a successful corporate career in hospitality, Smith decided to utilize her leadership skills to pursue her dream of opening a niche placement agency. She was known throughout the industry as an expert in developing lifestyle management solutions. Smith's expertise in developing strong professional relationships proved extremely beneficial on the start up of the company. Smith's experience, integrity and commitment to work in her clients' best interest became the foundation of Xtra Pair of Hands.
In 2007, Kym Smith was honored at the Atlanta Legends Balls Award. The award recognized the business acumen and community spirit of women for demonstrating a commitment to a balanced career, community involvement and excelling professionally through innovation, perseverance and leadership. Smith was later honored in 2008 by the Atlanta Business League with the Success Against The Odds Award. She is also the founder of Kym Kares, a non-profit organization dedicated to low income families.
Smith also publishes Xtra Magazine, a monthly resource guide for celebrities, executives and busy professionals. Kym Smith is a member of the International Concierge and Errand Association and the Atlanta Concierge Connections.
Smith attended Georgia State University where she received a Bachelors Degree in Finance. She also graduated from Georgia Perimeter College with a degree in Business Administration. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
